About the Hosts
Meet Robin & Helena Housen
We're Robin Housen and Helena Housen–van Haren, hospitality professionals and entrepreneurs based on Curaçao.
Robin is a chef with a career built at Michelin-level restaurants in the Netherlands, years of craftsmanship, discipline, and an obsession with getting the guest experience right. Helena was born on Curaçao, studied in the Netherlands, and returned home to build a career of her own, as a dietitian, running her own practice for years and guiding clients on nutrition, health, and lifestyle.
Today, we run Housen's Culinary Experience together, a premium private chef and catering business. We've also built our own home from the ground up, transforming our property in Julianadorp into a "jungle oasis" over two years and managing the design, sourcing, and construction ourselves.
Casa Colinas is the next chapter, bringing everything we've learned about hospitality, food, and building beautiful spaces into one estate. We're not distant investors; we're hands-on, from construction through to the day you check in.
